The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsWell, I moved the lawn mower from the barn to the garage.
But I'm NOT moving the snow blower from the garage to the barn, quite yet, because I suspect that's exactly what Mother Nature is waiting for so she can whip up a freak Spring snow storm.

Not just yet...

(26,241 posts)I got my lawn tractor started, so I might do a quick mow of the house lot, tomorrow. I use the push mower for trim work, but that is SO hard to start, the first of every season, I'll have to get my bro to come by and take care of that. My upper body strength isn't the best, and I don't want to risk re-injuring the shoulder that I wrenched, trying to start the snow blower the first time, last November.
Once it is started for the first time of the season, I have no problem starting it for the rest of the mows.

(26,241 posts)My back lot is still a little spongy and has some standing water - not unusual. Sometimes I can't mow the whole thing until mid to late May.

(72 posts)what will happen if you do.
Seriously... I was looking at April 2018 records here in NW Lower. Nine inches of snow on the 4th, with ten more on the 14th, and six more in the three days after that.
Yikes.

(26,241 posts)Once the snow finally melted with got like 10" of rain, and that resulted in a '100 year' flood. Crazy year, that's for sure.
