5. Here's my brave one. Our neighbors have (gulp) *CATS*!1 - well, dogs, too, but those are buds.

So those two cats are all over the corner of the neighborhood, peek in our doors, curl up under our bushes. Doggo and I take turns keeping Watch (Navy word) and alert each other when our territory is being violated. There was one incident where I thought a grocery plastic bag, white, had blown in under a bush, and I reached to grab it and it was the WHITE CAT!1 Which ran off screaming - or was that me, can't remember!1

So my doggo confronts them with much yapping and pseudo-charging, while especially the white cat until recently just freezes in place communicating complete ho-hum.

But this changed a couple of weeks ago when the white cat was on our PORCH and doggo was doing the yapping and pseudo-charging thing and one time got TOO close and the white cat reared up and did a ferocious snarling, hissing, baring fang thing, and doggo immediately ran off to a far corner and circled around and, when the white cat was safely departed, came to the door to supplicate coming inside.

Then he lept up onto a chair and hung his head, like, totally embarrassed, like "I'm traumatized and totally embarrassed and am a CHICKEN," so I petted and stroked him and said things about how that white cat was just a horrible Rafael Cancun Canadian CRUZ. But doggo was, like, "Oh my Dog, you SAW me be a CHICKEN and now everybody KNOWS I'm just a CHICKEN!1" There have been no breaches of the perimeter since, insofar as I know.
