Pre-Pandemic: A Day at Doggy Daycare

Neighborhood, go pick up some kids from homes where both parents need to be at work. The kids can play with the dogs and get a good lunch. Win win!

4. I have a field trial chocolate lab...her name is Nova.

Not a typical calm Labrador...high energy to say the least. We joined a doggy hiking club where the little bus came to our shop to pick up Nova to take her hiking for a few hours with a pack of other dogs. Nova would jump in the bus all excited and come home tired and content...we did this two days a week when we worked longer hours and couldn’t take her hiking ourselves. It was great until Nova contracted kennel cough. I was scared to freaking death when she got sick. She recovered with no problems but we never sent her back. Even though we had to produce proof of vaccinations to enroll her in the club, clearly there was a dog in the mix that wasn’t vaccinated. Loved the idea of this service but it didn’t pan out so well for us.

Very reasonable in my past experiences. What a fabulous layout!
