What the . . . ?

Was watching the "Band of Brothers" marathon on History Channel. As one episode ended it proceeded to the next, but it came up in Spanish. Commercials are in English, all other channels are in English. It's just the one program on History.

Any ideas what's going on with that?


Update: After all afternoon in Spanish, it's now back to English. Still no explanation.

1. I am having the same problems with various channels on my cable.

I had to watch the entire NCAA championship game broadcast in Spanish while all the commercials are in English. The Disney Channel was also in Spanish. I have tried for hours to fix this.

Yes, it happened a week or so back when we wanted to watch Mary Poppins; very interesting to see how it was set in Spanish. We kind of assumed that it was a special offering from Disney. But this, today, was different; started in English, switched to Spanish.

3. That happened to my friend a few years ago.

I don't recall what it was but for some reason the word "hacked" comes to mind. Can't say that's what it was but it has happened in the past.

4. Check to see if your tv has the option to switch between English and Spanish.

Go to the screen where you can select CC. If the program is in English but also has a Spanish option, it may show up there.

5. It just took itself back to English.

I have no idea.
