and loudly said, "Moving in?" She ignored me.

I suspect they'll get along great with their neighbors on the other side of them. They moved here from Orange County, CA. One of the first comments she made on our Slack community board was about taxes. I challenged her with what she was getting for the pennies per day. She hasn't been friendly since.

Sigh. Republicans can be so predictable.

I've been told that it's not a good idea to google people, so I haven't done it very much, just well-known people. Does Google give you a person's voter registration information? That shit should be kept private.

I think it may be one reason so many people are registered Unaffiliated or Independent.

everybody can find out how you're most likely to vote? We don't register by party in this state, which I think is good. Well it's good to know that, thank you.

They're not all Trumpeters. And if her husband is Dem, then I would have to think she's at least reasonable.

I have an acquaintance, her husband was a very staunch Republican. The old version; sane, but conservative, She was too. He passed away a few years back. We never really talked about politics. Here in FL you know better. But the other day I was driving by her house and saw her taking some groceries into the house. So I pulled into her driveway to say hi. We really hadn't connected a lot in the past year because of covid.

She was so happy to see me. We both confirmed we had gotten our shots so we gave each other a hug. We talked for about a 1/2 hour. During that time she said to me, "I am so glad Trump is gone. I so dislike that man and I really like Joe Biden." I didn't say much in return, just "I totally agree with you".

That did my heart good.
