Maryland - John Waters (Babe Ruth, easily)
Minnesota - Judy Garland (tough one, but I think Prince beats her out)
Oregon - Beverly Cleary (how about River Phoenix, instead?)
South Carolina - Eartha Kitt (no, it's Dizzy Gillespie)
