Need help identifying something heard on The Stephanie Miller Show.

There's a sound clip that's puzzling me. It's a woman repeatedly screaming "Give him the shot!!!"

It seems I've heard it before but for the life of me, I can't recall where.

Is it from a movie? A tv show?

I've tried doing a search using Duck-Duck-Go but no joy.

1. Are you sure it's not "Give her the shot"?

They have played the quip from "Terms of Endearment" where Shirley MacLaine screams at a nurse to give her daughter a shot for pain.

2. I remember the hospital scene in 'Terms of Endearment'

Where the Shirley MacLaine yelled at the hospital staff to give her daughter some pain medication, but that would have been 'give her the shot', or something similar.

6. I'd tried 'give him the shot' on a Duck-Duck-Go search but came up empty.

But when I typed 'her' instead of 'him' the search results included a Youtube clip... and yeppers, that's what I'm hearing on Stephanie's show!

7. Probably Shirley McLain screaming at nurse to give her dying daughter,

played by Debra Winger, her morphine or demerol shot. Terms of Endearment (1983). Also starred Jack Nicholson as a retired astronaut.

is dyeing in the hospital and it's time for her pain shot. The Shirley McClain character is screaming at the nursing staff that it's time for the daughters shot. Both Shirley McClain and Jack Nicholson won Oscars for their performances in this devastating movie. And James Brooks won for Best Adapted Screen Play, Director, and Best movie.

9. I loved ToE, but I've seen it

only once. I adore McLain, but I didn't like watching JN's character. DW's character story was too sad for me to want to watch again.

11. Yes, that's the one I found on youtube last night - wow, Shirley can yell !!
