In fact a lot of Season 3 is ... way less great than 1&2. Cause budget cuts.

If I had to pick one I'd go with 'The Way to Eden', the one with the hippies looking for Eden who hijack the ship.

An then there's the one with The Empath.

"And The Children Shall Lead" was one of the bad ones.

But right next to "Spock's Brain" was "The Enterprise Incident."
That one had holes in the plot a Death Star could fly through.

Each Trek series had their lousy episodes, and of the movies, "Star Trek 5" was the worst.

My favorite one: The Trouble with Tribbles.

When I was much younger, I turned my dad’s rabbit fur goves into a tribble — or at least the lining. Unfortunately, he wasn’t done with them so I had to use my allowance to buy him a new pair!

Right before it was another I always loved ... and I found out much later was first shown on the day after my birth.

That's the one with Dr Roger Corbie and Nurse Chapel and the androids living in the cave. Scared the crap out me when I was like 8 watching it for the first time.

That pic is actually kinda humorous ... you're like 'uuhhh ... what's Kirk planning to do to Big Ruk there?'

In Latest Threads your post headline sits right above a
Music Appreciation headline about a song called
"Release Me".....

and what popped into my head immediately was
the alien in Independence Day saying "release me" . 😆

But, And the Children Will Lead was just dreary and ugly.

It's amazing how many episodes I hated, yet still consider it to be my favorite TV show of all time.

The very thinly-veiled allegory of the "Yangs" fighting the "Comms".

It does sound crap, though I barely even remember that one. It just happened to be the latest podcast in their series and I had just listened to it.

That good Canadian fellow Bill Shatner's dramatic reading of the Constitution? Who could hate that like the plague? Besides, well, everyone.
