Musk has a high-functioning form of Autism - one that probably affects his social skills to a fair degree. But as things are taken away, others are given. Many high-functioning people with Autism have excellent pattern detection and other mental capabilities which are way above the norm for neural typicals.

Never really saw him before, just read articles.

He’s a little quirky and jerky — not unlike me — but very likable sans politics. Know some don’t like his politics, but there are a lot worse people than Musk.

And Asperger's being eliminated from the official whatever is meaningless.

I have a son with Asperger's. It absolutely limits him in certain ways. Changing the name of his diagnosis does not change his deficits.

Missed the monologue, but suspected almost immediately because of his odd mannerisms. Similar to a relative of mine who is an Aspie.

I respect that he came out about it tonite.
