(442 posts)I used to buy old books through ebay until I had to admit I had an addiction. I'll look at them now, but won't bid.
From what I remember, most sellers are quick to respond to questions and can be helpful. Just need to be careful and check the reviews. Most will also mention if they'll ship internationally in their profiles.

Its worth a try. Meanwhile, keep trying Amazon sellers. In the past I ordered many books from AmazonUK, and not everyone wanted to post to the US from there, so I had to keep trying.

You may be able to find a gently used copy that could be shipped to you. I've had really good experiences with ordering from Thriftbooks inside the US, but I cannot speak to how well their service is for customers abroad.
