(97,272 posts)My favorites are cubed pork tenderloin cooked with poblanos in a pork gravy or chicken poblano stew (which is really a tomato infused chili without beans, served over polenta).
Need the "Other" option.

(34,853 posts)There are so many variations.
The original is not from hamburger, but another cut and the sauce is more of a gravy than a soup

(23,459 posts)When I make chili now, I use fresh tomatoes, dried beans that I cook, ground beef, okra, onions, garlic and peppers in any form I have handy. I use half the beans I used to, and get 4 servings of chili from a batch.
I like okra and tomatoes cooked together. I like the chili with okra in it. not to everyone's taste, but I tired it and liked it.

I used to build a batch of chili from scratch and it was damn good chili.
Then one of my Texas brothers-in-law told me about WICK FOWLER'S.
Just try it.
Trust me.

(23,763 posts)The chili has spaghetti in it. Not a whole lot just enough you know it is there.
