Ive been working on my house and yard since I bought it almost 8 years ago. Ive painted all the rooms and ceilings, installed toilets, busted out old concrete sidewalks dug up yards of dirt for irrigation lines and plants etc and my back was fine until a week ago last Tuesday. Im in the middle of a bathroom remodel for the main bathroom and was reinstalling a 3 ft section of baseboard and thats what did my back in. The muscle spasms havent stopped yet. Im on Robaxin which kills the spasms but makes me too goofy to drive. I cant finish the bathroom or work in the yard. Argh!!!

(7,715 posts)After all that heavy lifting and hard work with all your other projects, it's incredible that just a piece of baseboard could do this.

(14,624 posts)I have severe problems in my lower back and upper back (stenosis in both plus bulging discs in my lower back.)
I'm a big fan of moaning out loud. I live alone so I'm not bothering anyone except the cats and they don't seem to care. I really think whining and moaning help me to process the pain.
