The winner wasn’t a niche brand with a precious story. It was just a version of one of America’s best-selling mass-market chips, but with perfect technique. Kettle-cooked Lay’s have “a nice pop of salt” and offer a “strong potato taste game.” In fact, they’re “really salty, but it feels warranted,” and also “seriously crunchy” — to the point where it “would be very difficult to eat discreetly, if that was the goal!”

2. Mine is Simply Lays Sea Salted potato chips.

3. Lays Kettle ain't bad, but I like their #3 choice Zapps better myself

And #4 Cape Cod.

But they didn't review Tim's Cascade ... those are some pretty bomb potato chips too.

The ones I make myself at home are my real faves but I don't like stinking up the house with smell of oil very often, esp. not in AZ summertime.

5. I love Miss Vickie's Jalopeno chips

and they are quite salty enough TYVM

We have a burger joint here in FW that has house made potato chips. THey are awesome
