What a difference a day and a location makes, here in Sheboygan.

We had our city fireworks on July 3rd, since Sheboygan is still a quite religious town.

Since the city fireworks were about 5 miles east of me, I barely heard them.

Last night, the town of Kohler, (yes, where the plumbing factory is,) is within eyeshot of my place, and Kohler had their fireworks last night.

It sounded like a WW2 movie.

Fortunately, my cats are used to loud noise, so it didn't bother them much or at all.

We saw as many as ten different display depending on what day the fourth fell on.

It was great. Still really upsetting for the dog. So we’d lock him the house with rock music on. He did okay with some pill from the vet to lower his anxiety
