At my house it is a cheese packet which calls The Zeus Dog. He can be sound asleep on my bed upstairs, but the quiet opening of the refrigerator and selected packet of cheese brings the old boy on the run, with a most adorable expectant look on his face. Nothing wrong with his hearing! And yes his human shares a bit of the cheese. He has me well trained. 😀

2. When I had my cat all I had to do

was open the particular cabinet door where the tuna was stored and she'd suddenly be next to my feet from the other side of the house quicker than a rocket. Likewise, if I opened the particular drawer where the can-opener was. She ignored any other cabinet doors and drawers.
