The moose will probably repay the human’s kindness by eating their trees but that is what moose do - eat leaves off trees.

This horrible hot weather affects every living thing in so many ways.

(The ones with little holes down the length that sprayed to both sides of the hose - I don't think they make those anymore.)

The horses loved them and would hang out standing over them so their bellies would get soaked. One really dry hot year I ran one the length of our dressage arena so as the riders came up the middle line their horses would get cooled off. It made a big difference for how the horses could perform when it was near 100 F and 90-95% humidity. They also kept our pasture grass alive, which really was the main reason for using them.

I can remember many days of running through the sprinkler when I was a kid. (As a matter of fact, I'd like to do that now.)
