Sadly it was struck by lightning about 10 years ago and is dead as can be (kinda perfect) but I fear it will go down in the next big wind storm. They sit in it, anywhere from one and I think the most I have see is 10. They mantle up there and just sit in the sun. Oddly I took a photo of the vulture tree the other morning with a Great Heron sitting next to a hawk in it.

Vultures are awesome and I hope my tree holds up as long as I do, I would miss them greatly.
