It's just that it's forgotten that he wrote anything other than the Hornblower stories.

historical context. Great acting imo.

I like Bogart and both Hepburns. But I am not real fond of "Sabrina," simply because it seems rather to glorify someone who is pretty blatantly a golddigger. As cute as Audrey is, her eye for the main chance is kind of disconcerting.

"African Queen" is a different kettle of fish altogether.

Featured big band music on the playlist, no televisions, and a raft of Bogart memorabilia: posters, photographs, production stills. Good beer and pinball machines. They also had framed quotes from some of his movies, and the one I've always remembered was from The African Queen: "Well I ain't sorry no more, you crazy, skinny, psalm-singin' old maid!"
