Atsu Sakari (BuckTick): Kiss Me Goodbye -personal encounter

Both Kimiko Asahina and I got to hang with Atsu a few years back. The first real Rock Star I ever met. He was fascinating, talking about playing live before a crowd of 30,000 people. What it was like to perform live on stage. He told me he used to get sick before each performance because he had stage fright and would throw up. How He crave the spotlight and he was awesome at singing to a live audience.
The band BUCKTICK started out as an 80s rock band and has survived through the 90s and 2000s. The song “kiss me goodbye“ is one of his favorite songs to talk about. He said he wrote this song while listening to Paul McCartney talk on the TV in Tokyo. He was totally inspired by David Bowie as well as other famous rock stars in the west. Enjoy this song.
