It's either for real or a John Mulaney joke. I don't have the time to look it up now.
In France, a beautiful 15-year-old stallion named Peyo often comes to comfort and soothe terminal patients at the Techer Hospital in Calais. The horse chooses which patient he wants to see, kicking his hoof outside the door

It's a very beautiful and amazing story. This horse is the one in charge, he has always been driven towards people who needed extra care. Somehow, he is very sensitive about people's feelings.

That first picture of the 24 year old mom who is down to skin and bone holding her 7 yr old son, and both being nuzzled by Peyo have me in tears.

(21,718 posts)2. The question is do those that he visits die soon after the visit?
Not because of anything the horse does, just because he "knows". If so, I'd be pretty nervous if the horse chose me to come visit.
