I have long loved the Flecktones but have not listened much lately. I am assuming that was still Jeff Coffin on sax?

I saw them so many times and even got to spend a while talking to Jeff (both of us dressed in red that night and both wind players, it was really fun), Vic of course and had a wonderful time with Futureman and he showed me all about his drumitar (sp?).

This just cracked me up as well as held me in wonder how they blended all of that so so perfectly.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
