He steps inside a few steps, I have to leave the door open a bit, then he will purr and roll around on my foot and stretch out. He was born in that yard, 11 years ago, but I called him indigenous, not feral. It took a couple of years for me to get him tame, he really loves me now. So be patient with your little outdoor kitties. The universe will smile on you.
