Use for drawing/painting/crayon-ing paper when you don't want to use expensive white paper.

As fire starters (if you have a fireplace that is), compost them in your garden, or use them for worm food (we have a worm bin and they love cardboard and heavy paper).
Plain brown bags don't have anything toxic in them. They are safe for garden composting.

I dont use paper bags for long-term storage because its a cozy environment for bugs and bookmites. Cockroaches eat em.
