Mittens really surprised me, this morning

She came running up, when she saw me bringing out the food. Unfortunately, my hands were full of food dishes and water refills so i couldn't get a picture but I'd say she got within about 4 feet of me. She is definitely the boldest and most curious.

She and Scooter are currently chowing down at the bowl that's close to the house. I make a few trips out to make my non-threatening presence known. They peek up and then go right back to eating.

5. Blue Heron

A Blue Heron was in my little pond this morning. They are a cool bird but I won't have any frogs is a few days.
