hahaha ..... i always thought it ..... Does the song say don't bring me down Bruce?
After all, singer-songwriter Jeff Lynne calls out his name right after the song's title line. But there was no Bruce. ... Released on 1979's Discovery, "Don't Bring Me Down" made its own kind of history as the first Electric Light Orchestra song without any strings.
