The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsLately, our Caller ID has flagged some callers as "Possible SPAM"
Haven't seen this before a week ago, and it's not because of any changes that we made (at least not knowingly). Our phone is several years old.
Anyone know if this is a new policy, or the result of new regulation or new technology ?

(1,109 posts)Why not stop by (real soon) and check out our newest models; management promises they now come with extended warranty already built into the final price. Also, I can offer you a super discount on that undercoating treatment as well as those lasered-in numbers on all your window glass. As usual, just ask for me personally. Your friend forever, Vanessa.
As soon as she (the recording) says, "Hi, this is Vanessa from dealer services" I hang up & block that number.
The funny part is, I kept my 717 phone number when I moved from PA 6 years ago & everyone I keep in touch with back there is in my contacts list. So even if the "scam likely" doesn't pop up, if it's a 717 number I know it's you Vanessa!

(1,109 posts)As far as I know (and I might be wrong), but Lo-Jack equipment and service is no longer available...no really, I even checked with our finance guy in that tiny room where you sign your out-the-door papers; however, we now offer free window tinting on our high-visibility bulletproof window glass. So why not swing by so we can shoot the breeze. Who knows, maybe I could offer you a sweet deal you couldn't refuse. See you soon. Your new friends, Glocko and Vanessa.
