Something good happened to me!
I got a notification at work today that upper management had approved my day off on Wednesday, except I never requested Wednesday off. So I asked my manager if I could take it anyway since it was approved and he laughed and said sure. So I am! Extra days off at the clinic are so hard to get right now. Yes!

Maybe it was karma for volunteering to work overtime last Saturday.
An extra day off is always good.
I worked at DCA, Washington National Airport from January 1969 to August 1979. Never ever had a holiday off. Often worked overtime hours on holidays. Getting a day off is good. You deserve it.
