My latest version took me to a developer page to check the box off for Remote Access (I hate the way it always seems to check itself on, which is why I monitor it, from time to time.) The directions were from Control Panel to Update and Security to the developers page. And then you are supposed to scroll down to Remote Access to make sure the box is left blank. I did that last night, and today, just to make sure it took, I went back to developer's page, scrolled down, and the entire option for Remote Access disappeared.
So, I'm wondering if there is a backdoor to get to the old pages to make sure it's still off.
