No, I don't mean multi-level marketing stuff.
And I don't mean stuff that you are literally trying to sell for financial gain.
What I mean is a particular item that you have, and that you think is great, that other people might not know about. Or, a particular brand of items lots of us have, that you think is better than the other brands.
Here's mine:
Rao's Marinara Sauce
This stuff tastes great. It actually tastes like restaurant marinara sauce. I just 'found' it a couple of weeks ago (found = somebody told me about it)
PROs: It's the best tasting marinara sauce from a jar I've ever had.
CONs: It costs twice as much as Ragu, Prego, etc.
Bottom Line: If you want a jarred sauce that actually tastes homemade, Rao fits the bill. But, it's cheaper to actually make homemade sauce.

(113,464 posts)discount, it was still ridiculous. Currently, Classico is 1.29/jar. And, as with any bottled pasta sauce, a healthy splash of red wine helps.

(4,394 posts)I don't think I'll get but one quart of sauce, but I tried growing the black krill tomato variety, and they're the darkest red, inside and out, that I've ever seen and tasty in BLTs. Oh, and my garden basil plant is huge with such aroma...

(10,202 posts)This stuff is amazing. Tastes like what it is, genuine South Brooklyn sauce of the best kind.
(I like Rao's too, but Michael's wins in our house.)
Their marinara is wonderful, but what's even better is the Home Style Gravy. I have been able to find Michael's at various markets in the SF Bay Area.

(7,611 posts)It has ten tables. You can not get a reservation there, ever. The tables are booked years in advance.

(2,201 posts)Regardless of the brand, they are just straight-up better than cartridge razors.
You'll pay more up front for the actual razor (that will last your whole life), but decent blades can cost as little as 13 cents each, and will last as long as a cartridge that costs twenty times more.
You also get a closer shave, with less skin irritation or razor bumps.
PROS: Cheaper, Closer Shave, Face feels better, Better for the environment
CONS: Better chance of nicking yourself. (But those chances drop drastically with practice)
