10. Ruby Throateds. Found mostly east of the Mississippi

All males, too. Amazing that there's no Battle of Britain enactments. Hummers are maniacally territorial. They've been known to fight to the death.

They are very territorial. And I fear that one of their food sources (insects) is in decline.
