Can't say it was the best concert I've ever attended (that would be Coldplay), but it was ultra-polished, super professional, almost perfect studio-quality sound, and I was in the same building with a god. Mick's energy has to be seen to be believed.

(42,409 posts)I'm glad to hear that it's a good show. I've seen them twice in Pittsburgh in previous years, but I don't think I'll go to this one. Yes, they are amazing!

(5,760 posts)I'm 68, so "Satisfaction" was a big part of my young music fandom. So brazen at the time.
It's really bizarre that back then the Stones were considered the bad boys, but are now viewed as the greatest, most professional band that ever was.

Fast forward to 2021. He's 78, still kind of old for a rock star.
