Saw the Rolling Stones last night in Charlotte

Can't say it was the best concert I've ever attended (that would be Coldplay), but it was ultra-polished, super professional, almost perfect studio-quality sound, and I was in the same building with a god. Mick's energy has to be seen to be believed.

2. Rolling Stones are coming to Pittsburgh tomorrow

I'm glad to hear that it's a good show. I've seen them twice in Pittsburgh in previous years, but I don't think I'll go to this one. Yes, they are amazing!

4. They closed the show with "Satisfaction", which was a bit emotional for me.

I'm 68, so "Satisfaction" was a big part of my young music fandom. So brazen at the time.

It's really bizarre that back then the Stones were considered the bad boys, but are now viewed as the greatest, most professional band that ever was.

7. I have seen them twice

and both times were like that. I think they figured that all out long ago. Wonderful group to hear and watch.

8. Saw the Steel Wheels concert in November of 1989.

At the time I was really impressed with Mick's energy, considering that he was getting kind of old for a rock star.
Fast forward to 2021. He's 78, still kind of old for a rock star.

My friends and I dropped a dose (it was college for me) and had a blast.
