Anyone ever get cut on opening a screw top wine bottle?
No blood, but it's like the paper cut from hell!

1. Yeah...
...I never expected the owner of the store would chase me down with a knife like that.

4. Paper cut, all the annoyance, none of the blood
So I guess there's that...

7. I recommend New Skin liquid bandage
This is the best stuff for cuts... especially where bandaids are too awkward to stay on... like the tips of fingers. They sell it at all the drug stores, not just amazon. Stays on even thru washing.

8. There is no blood
But if there were, would probably try and suck it out before it became an issue

9. If you're going to go with screw-top wine, boxed wine isn't any worse.
And less dangerous.
Preparing the plastic spout of a boxed wine for use is no more difficult than a simple shift of the package when wearing tight jeans. And no risk of paper cuts... ![]() |
