The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsWhat an eye opener. I bought a new vacuum cleaner. My old one has been proven very ineffective!
I just vacuumed yesterday, so I tried out the new one and damn! And I didn't even get an expensive one, since I'm hoping to rip out the carpet and transition to using Swiffers on most of the floors.
I predict I will be sneezing far less than I have been, that's for sure.

I too have a big problem with allergies and am also a dog and cat owner. That carpet had to go. It had probably been there since the house was built in 2002.

(115,924 posts)I found an attachment that's especially for pet hair, which tends to stick to rugs and can be hard to suck up. Fortunately I don't have a lot of rugs so the clumps of fur collect in corners where they can be easily dealt with.
How do the kittens feel about the new vacuum?
