2. When I was in my 20s a group of us would head up to Niagra Falls

every Columbus Day weekend and have Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant on the Canadian side. Happy Thanksgiving to my cousin in Corunna Ontario.

I wish I lived close enough to Canada to have their Thanksgiving there.

Alas, I live in Santa Fe. Well, not really alas as I really like living here, but it's a very very long way from Canada.

I will have to remember to send Thanksgiving Day wishes to a high school friend (we went to h.s. in Tucson, AZ) who lives in the Vancouver area. She was Canadian by birth, and while she lived in this country for a while through high school and college, she went back to Canada and has had a wonderful life.
