Got my Pfizer booster this afternoon.

There was actually a short line at my local CVS. No appointment needed. It hurt going in this time. Usually, I don't feel a thing when I get a shot or donate blood, but this time it actually hurt so was a bit concerned. Hurt for a bit after, but now, 2 hours later, can't feel a thing. No bruising, can't even see where the needle went in.

Now I have that behind me and will feel even more safe going out in public. Will still wear my mask though. Living in DeathSantis state a lot of people are maskless.

Get your boosters as soon as you and your family can.

I am curious to hear how people feel after a third shot. We weren't terrible after two, just felt wonky for a couple of days.

Never had a reaction to flu shots, but didn't want to take a chance doing both at same time. Although they say you can.

Every major joint caused her severe pain to the point where she was in bed for 24 hours. She's 55 and had her second shot in January. First two just made her feel a little unwell and tired. I'm sure it's different for everyone though.

Millions of Americans will be one step closer to receiving a Covid-19 booster shot this week when a key Food and Drug Administration advisory panel meets Thursday and Friday to debate extra doses of the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.

The FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee meetings come less than a month after U.S. regulators authorized Covid booster shots of Pfizer and BioNTech’s vaccine to a wide array of Americans, including the elderly, adults with underlying medical conditions and those who work or live in high-risk settings like health and grocery workers.

The flu shot was the super duper old people shot so I thought it might hurt but it barely was noticed. The Covid vaccine was also barely noticed, just felt like someone slugged me in the shoulder until the next day then all was normal. I had no reaction to the first 2 vaccines so maybe that is an indicator? I hope you do OK with them, most people seem to.

Usually I’ll try to move my arm around a bit afterwards so it doesn’t hurt. Doesn’t always work. This year I reached down and grabbed the seat of the chair I was sitting on and flexed my muscles in that arm for about 30 seconds or so. I had no pain or soreness! I’ll be getting my booster next week and I’ll try it again.
