(no, I don't think Serena's a monster, but she's one of the loudest screamers in women's tennis)

That being besides the point... do you think the commercial was meant to come off this way?

pitching Medicare Advantage plans or Reverse Mortgages!

I find it ironic in part because she once lost a game in a US Open Final because she yelled while her opponent (Sam Stosur) was hitting, known as a hindrance.
