i wonder if, like most birds, they could take the 1st egg, and they would lay another.
now, i'm not gonna climb up there and raid the nest. but someone in a kevlar suit might get away w it. but it could be a way to increase numbers. 1 chick every other year, boy, risky strategy mr darwin.
that is a really human looking face.
