I wanted to like the Rob Zombie reboots, but found them heavy-handed (for lack of a better description).

(3,370 posts)I enjoy the entire Halloween series (except part 3) and I think it's gorey Halloween fun.
It has original characters - some are the original actors. Lots of violence. It's not a story telling masterpiece. It's camp and gore.
I personally enjoyed it, though the ending sucked. There will be one more from this particular director dealing with this storyline.
