that don't sell during the fall season?
do they stuff them in the automobiles and trucks that don't sell and send them to Brazil?

(22,588 posts)We get 10 - 15 or so, and make all kinds of pumpkin dishes
practically anything you make from squashes. We will have raw pumpkins sitting on our dining room floor in March. Prepared and frozen it will last all year. We toast the seeds for a tasty salty snack.
Free food. Every year. Yeah, I sometimes get tired of pumpkin in almost every dish we eat all year long, but then I remind myself that its free food.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
