I've never had any after effects until this year.
This one is different. Very sore shoulder movement. Discomfort on inspiration. Tired and maybe slightly febrile.
Anyone else?

I got the Pfizer booster a couple of weeks later and had a sore arm for 2-3 days.

(170,199 posts)as in, it's really the first time I ever really felt it - just some body aches.....I initially thought, jeez, the workout I did yesterday wasn't THAT tough and then I realized it was probably the flu shot

(35,165 posts)overnight but was a lot better the next day. It was my first, super duper, old peoples flu shot. My Covid in the other arm did not hurt except if you pressed on it. My husband felt a little off for a couple of days. I tend not to react to vaccines and he tends to react so....

(12,937 posts)The shoulder was a little sore a couple of hours after the shot. The soreness was gone within a couple more hours.
In the bad-old-days, years ago, I always came down with flu symptoms after my Army mandated shot. I've not had any problems in years.

(129,730 posts)I got the double whammy for old people version, but it wasn't any worse than usual, and less bothersome than the covid booster.

(6,261 posts)I've been meaning to walk over to the pharmacy to get one but I can't remember anything these days.
I'll set an alarm for this afternoon.

(1,265 posts)Wow, never had a flu shot that caused so much fatigue. Regular shot, not 65+. Fortunately, the timing allowed me to take a nap. After that, nothing else. I'll take that any day.
