...then I put it on my salad, eat the salad for lunch, and go to my doctor's office for any medical issues.

I find that using apple cider vinegar on my salad keeps me from getting hungry while I am seeking medical treatment.

It's been very effective for that.

Also, it is highly effective at treating conditions suffered by anonymous people on the internet who give medical advice.

some other natural remedies (spices:ginger root, fennel, cinnamon; stopped drinking OJ; and drank black tea instead of coffee fir a while) to get rid of GERT. It worked and haven’t had GERT since. Sure beat the hell out of taking Prilosec as far as I was concerned. Would and will do it again if I ever have a recurrence.

ps - Got these dietary changes from a woman I worked with who cured a stomach ulcer with them.

So, I have been mixing it in my V8 juice every morning, and my one knee that eventually will need a replacement, has been ok for awhile. So, the neighbor that did suggest it, has been hobbling by our house with a terrible gate. She isn’t walking good at all. I feel so bad, haven’t talked to her, I will and will ask how she’s doing, but it looks like she’s not doing good at all.

Only about 4 ounces before bed. He says too much quinine is toxic.

My friend uses vinegar and water rinse in ears once a week. It stops ear itching. Apparently discourages fungus.

I use distilled vinegar in my rinse water as clothes softener. Doesn't smell vinegary at all after clothes are dry.

Forget the raves people are raving on YouTube, and give up the idea that apple cider vinegar is some kind of panacea. It's just another scheme to get you to buy more of something that has a reliable, but relatively low, sales volume.

Apple cider vinegar consumed in all but small amounts (as in salad dressing, as someone pointed out above), can cause metabolic acidosis, tooth decay (from the acidity), and cratered potassium levels, which, take it from me, you don't want.

I don't want to hear how it saved you from cancer, HIV, and the heartbreak of psoriasis. Any argument made in its favor will be anecdotal, and very likely moronic.

Apple cider vinegar was huge a few years ago as the most popular fad diet/panacea. I thought once its magical healing powers had been debunked we'd hear no more of it.

I'm sorry for snapping, but in my clinical practice, I have to keep my patients away from fad medical cures with a whip and a chair. They're the bane of my medical career...

My cancer was cured after I sacrificed a goat to the mountain gods. Is that going to make a believer out of you, or are you going to insult my religion?

The simple fact of many health conditions is that their course in any individual varies. So, absent statistical controls, one person - or even several people - saying “I ate shit and my acne cleared up” means nothing.

The apple cider vinegar fad nonsense caused a lot of dental problems and metabolic problems, and it made a ton of money for one vendor in particular, whose brand seems to dominate advertising on web sites dedicated to promoting their product.

I’m old enough to remember when Laetrile cured cancer, and then shark cartilage, and when DMSO cured arthritis. Why did those things - attested to by countless personal testimonies - suddenly stop working?

and use it as a final rinse on my hair. It really brings out the red and makes my hair super shiny!

I also make an electrolyte water with peeled, sliced cucumbers, ACV, salt & pepper, a dash of cayenne, and water. I let it sit in the fridge overnight. I find it refreshing.

A few years ago I had knee pain and pain in my wrist and swollen fingers, which lasted months. Finally went to the doc who said was osteoarthritis. It was a shock to me!

I found a lot of information and articles on ACV plus honey curing peoples joint pain, so I tried it. Two weeks later the pain and swelling was indeed completely gone. I kept taking the acv and honey (3:1 ratio; 1tb in water 2-3 times a day) for a while longer but eventually lost track of it. Now, if I ever have joint pain again I start the mixture immediately for a few weeks. It always works!

With the honey added, it tastes a lot like lemonade. Delicious hot or cold.

on the off chance that it helps regulate my blood sugar. There’s not sufficient evidence that it works but I figure it can’t hurt. I put a tablespoon on my daily lunch salad. My blood sugar is very hard to control, even with diet and insulin.
