And the truest form of perfect love and perfect trust I've ever seen... Bless that human and her mama cat.

And they are not yet big enough to jump up on the dresser tops and knock things onto the floor.

We have a few feral cats in the neighborhood. They'll let my daughter pick up the kittens but, I don't think they'd be willing to bring them inside.

And that determined look on Mamma's face as she brings them in.

We've had the same thing happen with a couple Mamma's that we've taken in.

One Momma would bring her 4 over to me when I laid down on the couch and put them on my belly, then she'd curl up on my left shoulder under my ear and if I acted as if I was going to get up, she'd reach over and push on my cheek and give me a "look".
An hour or so was the minimum amount of time that I was to stay down.
Momma's name was Lucy because she reminded us of Lucy from 'Peanuts'.
Her babies were 2 orange males,
"Chip & Dale", a gray tiger named "Tiger" and a black male named "Inky".

Many years ago, my girl insisted on birthing her kittens on my bed, with me as midwife., and dad cat attending her. After they were all cleaned up, I carefully placed them in the special bed I had prepared for them, and carried them to the secluded spot I thought mom would appreciate. A bit later, I went to the bathroom. Came back to see that mom had brought the kittens back, and placed them carefully under the covers, right in the middle of the bed. She made it quite clear that was where they belonged. She finally allowed me to move them into their playpen at three weeks. And dad was there the whole time.

to our bed, right between us when we were sleeping. I awoke to turn over & discovered them. Apparently, she thought it was too cold in her closet bed. Then, fearing he would roll over on them, sweet hubs left to sleep on the sofa!

Yrs later, Mernie slept underneath the covers with me when the weather turned cool. I finally made that old gal a box bed with a heating pad underneath lots of covers.

Kitties need warm beds. 🐱

the covers when it is cold. Many years ago, with my first family of kits, I had a water bed. They all slept under the covers.
