That neither team has a lot to be proud of over the last three years.

It is sad to see a once proud matchup be reduced to such irrelevance.

I was selling cokes at the Doak Campbell Stadium when Bowden was hired. If you waited till kickoff, they would open the gates and let anyone in. My High School team, Godby High played the District Championship in the stadium in 76. That was the largest crowd they had all year. 32K. LOL.

It was fun watching Deion Sanders, Janikowski, Rohn Stark etc. play. They actually had to tell Rohn he was out kicking his coverage and to dial it back about 10 yards.

And don't even get me started on Jimbo Fisher. He's one of the main reasons we are where we are right now. His recruiting sucked and I don't think he really cared. He got the job he wanted in TX. They can keep him.

I attended UM from 84 to 88 so I lived through some classics. We had a solid twenty year run and have been extraordinarily mediocre for the last 15 years. Ever since we stepped foot into the ACC. It is hard to imagine, we have never won the ACC and only won our division once. In fact, we have had more success as a basketball school in the ACC which is just mind boggling to me.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.
