What tastes better, sweet potato pie or pumpkin pie?

Is there a difference between sweet potato pie and pumpkin pie?

I like the texture a little better, squash seems a little loose and reacts to the wet ingredients differently than the potato does.

I learned to make it myself. Now I love it but have to have people to share it with so I don't eat it all.

I used to make pie with butternut squash. My dad liked it better than pumpkin. I’ve never had sweet potato pie.

In fact I have several sweet potatoes in my fridge right now that are baked. I get out half of one, squeeze the meat out of the skin, roughly chop it, put a little butter on and microwave it until the butter is melted. YUM!
