(27,891 posts)Last year I had pizza.
This year, I'm told, it will be smoked turkey breast. We're all fully vaccinated, now, so I'm just going to go with the flow.

(23,757 posts)but the fullsized roast. So. Good. My mom made it for holiday dinners on more than one occasion. I guess you could also include a crown roast of pork.
I would want that ribey roast, rare.

(63,221 posts)pork roast. I love the tenderloin since I do not like any fat on my meat at all, but I can tolerate a little bit of anything.

(27,278 posts)Pastisio along with The Turkey.
Pastisio is tubular noodles layered with chopped beef cooked with onions, tomato paste, a pinch of cinnamon, , salt, pepper (since I never saw it being cooked was using memory, and Google) you add some grated Greek cheese (like kesseri, -not- feta) on top of the chopped meat, and bechamel sauce to top it off.
I haven't had it in a bazillion years, but it was gooood!

(131,217 posts)Sometimes with a touch of birdshot (we were warned to be careful when chewing), and gravy, with wild rice - the real wild kind from Up North, not the cultivated stuff - instead of mashed potatoes. Pheasant is very tasty, at least the way my mom cooked it.
