Mine is gin and dry vermouth shaken and poured over ice. A dry juniper-y tang to it, and a nice kick if you use enough gin.

What's the formula for determining the square footage of a circle?

for a yard project. The formula is;

To calculate the area of a circle we use the formula: ? x (diameter/2)2. That is to say ? (pi is 3.14159265) multiplied by half the diameter squared. So, we divide our diameter by 2 and then square it (multiply it by itself) and then multiply by ?. This gives you your square feet figure (ft2).

For the final episode of MASH, I went to a watching party where only martinis were served. For years, (or decades), I never really could remember much about that final episode. Someone here on DU recommended that I should watch it on dvd - I did and I'm glad I did!

I'm into some box wine tonight.

in a bit of a mood here. Rittenhouse. Place a mess due to a new floor, which will be great...but can't watch mindless tv at the moment. If you're ever in LA, martini at Musso and Frank is a must. Also the bar at the Biltmore. I don't have to say gin, do I? Went to an old haunt this afternoon for a couple of average wines....had to leave because of Rittenhouse conversations...not to mention that shit in Georgia. And this in a SoCal beach town that went 65% Biden. Jesus Christ. Anyhoo...you do good work. Enjoy the buzz...ready to escalate here...good feelings to all....

I’m taking narcotics to dull the pain of knee replacement surgery. No mixing! Otherwise, I would have been sipping vodka and iced tea.

See you next Friday!
