Anvbody here know Japanese/Chinese?

Last edited Sun Nov 21, 2021, 09:31 AM - Edit history (1)

There's this very funny YouTube series featuring a "ferocious cat" named "Ten Chan".

It's in Japanese, but you really don't have to know the language to enjoy the videos.
eg.

Is there a character in Asian anime named Ten Chan?

Any guidance here would be appreciated.

Sora Amamiya was introduced to the seiyuu profession in high school by a friend who enjoyed anime. ... Amamiya was named a winner of the Best New Actress award in the 9th Seiyuu Awards. She is nicknamed Ten-chan, as her given name can also be read as "Ten."

Any help?

At least you can search for more detail with this.

"Ten Chan" is the nickname of the Japanese anime voice actress Sora Amamiya. . .

Apparently it has to do with similarities in language characters (kanji).

Seems to me the cat Ten Chan is a female, as the last character of the name at the beginning of the videos looks like a feminist symbol.
