This has to be Spam. An email from CVS wants to know if I want to participate in a test trial

for a vaccine. I'm like, are test subjects recruited this way?? It has to be Spam.

You could be a part of vaccine progress. Research study enrolling now.

Dear Baitball:

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common acute respiratory illness, leading to more than 177,000 hospitalizations of older adults in the U.S. per year. Currently, there is no vaccine available to help prevent disease.

Usually when healthy adults get RSV, their symptoms are mild and can feel like a cold. However, for some people, especially older adults, RSV disease can be more serious, possibly resulting in hospitalization for pneumonia, worsening of chronic lung or heart disease, and even death.

You may be eligible to participate in a research study to help advance an investigational RSV vaccine for people who are 60 years and older. The study will help researchers learn if an investigational vaccine is safe and can help the body produce antibodies and cells to fight off RSV infection and disease in older adults.

My son had Muscular Dystrophy. There were plenty of research projects but we had to seek them out and apply for consideration.

Report this to CVS if you want, but trash it.

get doses out to folks who need them. Then sell them on stuff. There would be more people left to sell stuff to.

Check the actual 'From:" address. If it's a mish-mash of BS, and not a direct address from CVS, it's a scam.

Total scam. Expect to get fake 'gift card' offers from Walgreen's, alMart, etc. in the near future. That seems to be the latest series of scam spammers.
