On December 4, 1956, four top musical performers met and recorded a jam session...

... from The Good News Network

https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/events061204/

"During a Sun Records session, Carl Perkins was playing with Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash, when a 21-year-old Elvis Presley visited the studio and jammed extensively while audio tapes captured nearly four dozen tracks, including classics like Love Me Tender, Don’t Be Cruel, Tutti Frutti’ and a few Christmas songs, too. Presley also led the jam session in renditions of gospel numbers from his youth.

A reporter who was present dubbed the four men the Million Dollar Quartet, and the nearly-complete tapes from this legendary session were eventually released on CDs 31 years later."

There's a little more text, some photos and a link to a music video at the link. In 1956 I
was 7 years old but I knew about these guys back then. Oh yeah!

I think that would be some good music. Santa might have to put that CD in my stocking.

My sister was an Elvis fan, but I grew up in the Beatles / Stones era.
Loved The Killer because that's Rock & Roll and Carl Perkins had rock cred I wasn't aware of until years later. The Man In Black grew on me over the decades.
