Christmas Radio: Canada's Stuart McLean tells how "Dave Cooks the Turkey"

Many of you may have heard Stuart McLean's Vinyl Cafe on your local Public Radio. I used to listen at 5PM on Saturday in a warm tub. Some of his stories kept me in the tub waiting for the finish. This was one and well worth it.

From Stuart McLean's Vinyl cafe, "Dave Cooks the Turkey." 26 minutes

at 7:00 a.m. every Sunday morning on WUTC. Since Stuart's death, we've had to make do with CD recordings of previous shows. Just this week we've listened to several of the stories from a compilation that includes The Christmas Card and Murphy's Bar Mitzvah.

Dave Cooks the Turkey is always a treat! Nice to know that there are other fans of CBC and Stuart McLean.

Something about the dog in church.

Since I love to pull up an old radio show a couple times a week I will enjoy looking for this gem during the next (covid) year.

It is not only the stories, but also McLean's delivery - so moderated.

Merry Christmas.
